About Erin
I currently study Philosophy and Sociology at UoB, and am in my second year. I took A-Level RS, History and Spanish, gaining grades AAB (don't worry, my B was in Spanish - I won't try and pretend like I'll be any help there). I always loved to help my peers to understand what we were learning, and to figure out how to turn their knowledge into good grades - and I am so passionate about this I would love to help you do the same! Sometimes all you need is some 1-on-1 time with someone who cares about the subject, and will take the time to help you - because in school it can be hard to get this level of attention that is needed to hit those higher grades.

Hi! I was always a high achiever in school in this subject as it was my favourite! I know how interesting it is, but I also know that in school, to get good grades, sometimes you have to be (annoyingly) specific to the mark scheme of whichever exam board you are learning with. I will help you to figure out your strengths, weaknesses, and how to fit these with your mark scheme - sometimes you just need a good essay structure that you can reuse. Or, sometimes the content can be hard to get your head around - and I'm here to help! I am very passionate about my subject, so I will find a way to make it fun and interesting for you to learn and remember. It can be difficult to keep up in big classes in school - so I provide 1-on-1 tutoring for RS (and Philosophy etc.), for all levels!

Erin is very able and intelligent. She passed her 11 plus with flying colouts - over 260 score and her cats tests with only a few marks dropped. She practised her 11 plus papers many times and due to her experience she is in a unique position to help others learn how to master the skills needed (both verbal and non- verbal). She is friendly and easy to get on with and will be an asset to any student wishing to pass these exams.
