About Autumn
I have two years' experience teaching maths for engineering undergraduates, based in classes of over 20 students and taking 2-3 groups per week. I have helped my students to understand and become confident with the concepts with which they initially struggled, making sure they were prepared for exams.
I graduated with a first class master's degree in astrophysics in 2014 and I have worked in postgraduate research in solar physics for two years.

In teaching I like to take a supplementary role to course material, helping students to learn content and complete example problems based on their individual needs. I prefer an interactive setting where students are free to ask as many questions as they require, so that we can work to address any areas they feel they need to improve.
My main experience is teaching maths for first year engineering undergraduates, which is roughly equivalent to core maths modules at A-level and a little beyond.
