About Maria
I am a first year physics student at Durham University. I find my subject fascinating and I am passionate about teaching maths and physics to school students. I studied maths, physics and chemistry at A-level and further maths and biology at AS.

My approach to teaching is to present a particular topic first and then help students with exam questions, so that they can have as much practice as possible in solving problems. I use a variety of methods to explain concepts such as verbal reasoning and diagrams. I believe that explaining clearly each problem step by step is the best way to learn physics and maths.
