About Mathura
Hiya! My name is Mathura and I am a trainee Biomedical Scientist with a huge musical background. Starting piano at the age of 6, by 16 I had completed my Grade 8 piano, with a distinction from Grade 1 all the way to Grade 8. For Singing, I started at 11 and went from Grade 1-8 in 5 years, also completing everything when I was 16. I’ve spent more than 5 years helping singers and pianists, and I can help you too! Whether you are experienced, looking to further your boundaries or an aspiring artist, taking your first steps in music, I can help you achieve a balance. I teach ONLINE

I’ve started teaching to my students my personal approach with both piano and singing, trying always to encourage and stimulate their own musical talents and beliefs as I have done and I still do with myself. I focus on feeling as well as technicality, as both are equally important. I have a very individualistic approach with students, as I believe that all students should just be guided their personal attitude for the music. My usual lesson range from 1 hour to 3 hours long, depending on whether the student wishes to practise further and support themselves with more time. I have tutored piano and singing for about 3 years now and have helped students further their grades and love music even more so. I am happy to teach for grades or just for hobbies and comfort. I have taught from ages 6-30 and have also taught pop singing as I have done competitions previously.
