About Valerie
Music has always been a big part of my life, and I first started helping my own piano teacher guide younger students when I was still learning myself. That experience gave me insight from both a student’s and teacher’s perspective, helping me understand how to make lessons encouraging, patient, and effective. I teach using the ABRSM syllabus from Grades 1 to 5, focusing on both practical and theory, and my goal is to help students truly enjoy learning music while developing solid skills and confidence.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit their pace and personality. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable and encouraging, while still developing solid technique, musical understanding, and confidence through the ABRSM syllabus.
