I offer friendly, structured piano lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals. Whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your skills, lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, and repertoire, helping you build confidence and musicality. We work on scales, arpeggios, hand coordination, and advanced finger work, alongside playing pieces you enjoy, whether classical or contemporary. All lessons are delivered online, making them flexible and convenient, and can range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on age and ability. Lessons are designed to support students preparing for graded exams up to Grade 8, as well as those learning purely for enjoyment. My aim is to make every lesson productive, engaging, and rewarding, helping you progress at your own pace while keeping the music exciting. Please note: lessons will be offered to adults and children aged six upwards. Younger children may be considered after an assessment to identify whether they can cope with the demands of learning an instrument. In this case, shorter lessons can be offered to ensure that lessons are not too overwhelming.

Imogen is a great musician, has entertained the residents at our care home. She is a kind person and am sure she will be a patient and encouraging teacher.
Imogen is a very patient and knowledgeable piano tutor. Explains things very well, and has an excellent manner with students. Also gives great feedback, giving students things to work on independently between lessons. Highly recommended.
Imogen has been a dedicated musician and is determined to share her passion of music with others and help create a new generation of young musicians. She is a friendly and confident tutor that will make lessons relaxed and enjoyable for students, allowing children to play and perform with confidence!
