About Sophie

I have just graduated from the University of Oxford in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and am offering online tuition. I provide tuition for Scottish exams, with the possibility of extending to English exams in the subjects of politics and economics. I can also help with preparation for applications for PPE at Oxford University. National 5s taught: Maths, English, Modern Studies and art. Highers taught: English, Economics, Politics and Modern Studies and art. I have experience as a student ambassador for Oxford University, working on outreach events and running interview, admissions tests and general workshops. I achieved all A's in my national 5s, highers and advanced highers and so have a good sense of what it takes to achieve top marks and good experience of and tips for preparing for and sitting exams.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is solely focused around the course structure with a focus on high performance in exams. After assessing the initial ability of students, I tailor my lessons specifically to address their weaknesses and include exam preparation and techniques early on.
