About Kimble
I have been working in education since 1990 and have worked in Australia, Asia and the Middle East. I am comfortable working with all age groups and instructing parents on how to work with younger children.
Most of my work has been in the areas of English as a Second Language and Special Needs Education with students who are aiming to integrate or are in mainstream classrooms.
Overseas I have developed English language and and Dual Language programs in China and the Arab Emirates and trained teachers in China and Education Support teachers in Australia.

I combine a combination of explicit and implicit learning methodologies that can be scaffolded to meet the needs of the individual student. Where possible lessons are 'hands-on' and have a practical orientation.
A lesson generally lasts from 45 to 60 minutes and incorporates reviewing previous work, new material and extension of past and present work.
I have Master's qualifications in both Linguistics (ESL) and Special Needs along with other post-graduate qualifications in deaf education (speech), Aboriginal Studies and Development studies.
I have worked with all ages from babies (and their guardians), primary and secondary students l with adults as learners and in teacher training.
