About Maisie
Having tutored for over a year now I have experience with all ages from year five to GCSE level.
I have just completed my A Levels in French, English Literature and Art (awaiting results, predicted A*A*A) and an AS in Maths (achieved A). I am planning on reading English next year at degree level.
I achieved all A*s at GCSE and successfully underwent the 11+ so I'm familiar with revision and exam techniques.

I tutor maths, French and English up to GCSE level, 11+ prep and 7+ prep.
In my sessions, I'll aim to improve your child's abilities and their confidence. Learning and revision doesn't have to feel impossible!
In the trial lesson we would work out your goals and set targets before doing a short assessment to give me an idea of your child's current level. Regular lessons would be tailored to your child's needs but could be spent going through homework, planning essays or doing practice papers/ questions. To teach I would combine presentations with short tasks and discussions to help your child stay engaged. I'm aware that every student has different needs and learning styles so I actively adapt how I teach to ensure the best learning experience.

Details
I offer a free first 30 minute lesson to get to know the student and set goals together. I charge £20 per hour both online and in person but ask for £5 travel expenses if you would like me to come to you.
