About Aniket

I am an Economics postgraduate who genuinely enjoys learning, understanding ideas, and sharing knowledge with others. During my academic journey, I have experienced both the challenges of learning complex concepts and the satisfaction that comes when something difficult suddenly becomes clear. This has shaped the way I approach teaching.

I want to teach because I believe that knowledge becomes more meaningful when it is shared. I have always enjoyed discussing ideas, explaining concepts to others, and finding simpler ways to understand difficult topics. For me, teaching is not just about completing a syllabus or helping someone get the right answer; it is about helping students develop the confidence to understand things on their own.

Economics, in particular, is a subject that I enjoy teaching because it connects theory with almost every aspect of everyday life. Concepts that initially seem abstract can often be understood through simple examples from markets, households, businesses, government policies, and everyday decisions. I want to make that connection visible to students and help them see Economics as something logical and relevant rather than merely a collection of definitions and formulas.

I also understand that students learn differently. Some need more time with fundamentals, some learn better through examples and diagrams, while others understand a concept only after solving several questions. I enjoy adapting my explanation until the idea becomes clear to the student.

What motivates me most is the moment when a student moves from “I don't understand this” to “Now I get it.” I see teaching as a two-way learning experience where I can contribute my knowledge while also learning from the questions and perspectives of my students.

Through tutoring, I want to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving without hesitation. My aim is not only to help students perform better academically, but also to develop their curiosity, analytical thinking, and confidence as independent learners.

For me, teaching is ultimately about making learning simpler, meaningful, and enjoyable.

I believe that good teaching is not simply about explaining a topic; it is about making the student capable of understanding and applying that topic independently. My teaching approach is therefore built around conceptual clarity, active learning, individual attention, and practical application.

I begin by understanding the student's current level, learning style, difficulties, and academic goals. Every student has a different pace of learning, so I avoid following a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I adjust the depth, pace, examples, and practice according to the student's requirements. If a student has gaps in their fundamentals, I first strengthen those foundations before moving towards advanced concepts.

My primary method is “intuition → concept → application.” I first introduce the basic intuition behind a topic in simple and accessible language. Once the student understands the underlying idea, I introduce the formal definition, theory, graph, mathematical framework, or technical terminology. I then move towards application through questions, numerical problems, case-based examples, and real-world situations. This approach helps students understand not only what a concept is, but also why it works and when it should be applied.

For Economics, I particularly focus on connecting classroom concepts with the real world. Topics such as inflation, unemployment, demand and supply, market structures, fiscal policy, monetary policy, economic growth, and development become much easier to understand when students can see their practical relevance. I therefore use everyday examples, current economic developments, government policies, and market situations wherever appropriate.

I also make my classes interactive rather than one-directional. I encourage students to ask questions, explain concepts in their own words, and attempt problems themselves. I use practice questions not merely to test students, but to identify conceptual gaps and understand how they approach a problem. When a student makes a mistake, I focus on understanding the reason behind it rather than simply providing the correct answer.

For examination-oriented students, I combine conceptual learning with structured practice, question-solving, revision, answer writing, and exam strategy. My objective is to help students develop both knowledge and the ability to use that knowledge effectively under examination conditions.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving continuously. I want my students to move beyond memorizing information and develop the confidence to think, analyze, solve problems, and learn independently.

My teaching philosophy is simple: understand first, apply next, and memorize only what is necessary.
