About Yavuz

I am a passionate mathematics tutor with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, dedicated to helping students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a Master's degree in Economics, and a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas at Dallas.

My strong analytical background allows me to explain complex mathematical concepts in simple, understandable ways.

For SAT Math preparation, I focus on identifying each student's strengths and weaknesses, developing a personalized study plan, and teaching effective problem-solving strategies. My goal is not simply to help students memorize formulas, but to develop the mathematical reasoning and confidence needed to approach SAT questions successfully.

I believe every student can improve with the right guidance, consistent practice, and encouragement. I strive to make each lesson engaging, supportive, and productive.

About the lesson

My SAT Math tutoring focuses on building mathematical understanding and improving problem-solving efficiency. We work on algebra, advanced math, problem-solving and data analysis, geometry, and trigonometry. Lessons include targeted practice, review of incorrect answers, pacing strategies, and appropriate use of the digital SAT's Desmos calculator.
