Having taught me English and Literature for 3 consecutive years, I'd recommend Mr Othniel to any English/Literature student. Why?

He's good at what he does. He teaches with a blend of storytelling and detailed explanation, which makes it difficult to forget whatever you've learnt from him both as a teacher and as a person. He's blessed with the ability to impart what he knows in us, while still giving us room to form and air our views without dismissing us even when he does not agree.

He's friendly and observant. He gives off a friendly energy and creates a fun environment, which makes students comfortable to ask him anything and talk to him even outside the class. Although he's strict and expects the best from his students, that's not unusual given that every student gets his maximum attention without bias. He familiarises himself with his students so he knows what buttons to push to motivate them and help them improve.

I'd recommend Mr Othniel to any English or Literature student because with him, you'd get both a good, well rounded and talented teacher and also a friend.

I passed through Mr Othniel's tutorial during our JUPEB course in UNIZIK Awka (law student) and I found in him a man with passion for teaching, one who has an excellent spirit, dedicated to duty and goes extra mile to produce excellent students.
