About Tennison
I have just completed a Master of teaching, and have experience teaching English as a foreign language, Spanish, and English reading comprehension. I have taught groups of all sizes and ages online and in person.
I have a strong understanding of the technical side of the English languages, including grammar, text type and genre.
My undergraduate degree was in International Studies, which has a very strong writing, comprehension, and critical engagement focus. This, combined with my personal interest in the subject, gives me the necessary skills to help you achieve any of your English subject goals.

Teaching is pointless if the student cannot see the value or the relevance of the topic. Consequently, I am student focused and work with the student to find perspectives and approaches that are relatable to them. Class is never boring if we try and open ourselves up to learning.
