About Kate
My name is Kate and I am a registered Primary School teacher in Victoria. I have a passion for working with students who require additional support, when learning how to understand, read and write in English. Our language is a complicated one, that requires direct & explicit instruction, so early readers can learn the alphabetic code and become successful, confident readers.

I use a range of evidence based strategies that align with the Science of Reading. My lessons include hands-on activities to engage learners and to make learning an enjoyable experience.
