I am a family medicine physician and see myself being a teacher (both formally and informally) for the rest of my life. I am comfort teaching the majority of the hard sciences, but obviously have a preference for the medical sciences.

My goal is for my students to understand topics as much as possible. The more they understand, the less they have to just memorize... they end up memorizing by accident. This also leads to a greater retention and intuition for the topic.
