About Maïlénie
I have been passionate for more than 10 years by the diversity of art forms, traditions and languages that India is offering us.
I have been practicing Bollywood dance since childhood and I have also been training since 2018 in Indian classical dance (Kathak). I have attended many workshops and intensives in Europe, the USA and India and have performed in these places as well.
As a French woman, I know how complex Indian culture can appear to Westerners, which is why I favor popularization in my classes. For me, learning to dance also involves understanding the language and the culture, that's why I'm learning the Hindi language alongside dancing. I will be happy to pass on a piece of this culture to you at the same time as the choreographies !

Private lessons are open to all levels and can take place individually or in small groups.

Please book your lessons at least 15 days in advance for studio lessons, 7 days for other lessons.
*Standard private lessons:
1H/ lesson.
Learn Indian dance at your own pace and discover all the subtleties of Indian culture! A well-deserved parenthesis in the euphoria of everyday life!
*Intensive private lessons:
2H/class, 6H package per choreography.
Learn an entire choreography in 6 hours and learn more about Indian culture, the Hindi language and the different styles of Indian dances! Complete this experience with a video of your choreography shot in the studio, dressed in a beautiful costume! (costume rental possible)
5 hours of lessons and 1 hour of filming.
*Private lessons for events (wedding/sangeet, bachelors party or others)
1H30/lesson
Costume rental for the event possible.
Learn Indian dance with your family, your friends and amaze your guests! Whatever your level, I will challenge your potential and guide you to create a show that your loved ones will remember!
*Event entertainment / workshops
At the actual location of the event. Flexible duration.

Please read the cancellation policy below:
-For event entertainment:
in case of cancellation, 20% of the service is non-refundable. The service must be canceled at least 4 days in advance to receive the remaining 80%. Postponements free of charge are possible within the same limit of 4 days before the event, if I'm available on the new date.
-For the cancellation of a private lesson at your home and online:
4 days in advance for a full refund and 48 hrs in advance for a 50% refund.
Course postponements are possible free of charge (minimum 48 hours in advance), to be seen together depending on availability.
-Studio classes are non-refundable.

Perfect! Maïlénie est une merveilleuse danseuse qui parvient à nous faire voyager à travers chaques cours. Je prends des cours de Kathak avec Maïlénie depuis 2 mois maintenant. Je suis très satisfaite, c’est d’une excellente prof avec une très bonne méthodologie. Je recommande vivement ses cours.
