About Gregg

I’m Gregg, an award-winning writer and director with over 25 years of professional experience in British and American film and television.

My acting career spans leading and series regular roles across more than 100 television episodes, with credits across HBO, Netflix, BBC, Sky, Amazon and other major international networks. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the industry’s most distinguished actors and filmmakers, including Ridley Scott, Rosamund Pike and Nicholas Hoult.

Now a writer and director with Academy Award-winning production company Slick Films, I bring a perspective shaped by extensive experience on both sides of the camera.

Having spent decades working on professional sets, I understand the creative and practical demands of the industry, from auditions and castings to the pressures of delivering a performance on set. I know how important preparation, confidence and making clear, truthful choices can be.

What I particularly enjoy about coaching is helping actors discover what makes their performances individual and compelling. Whether we’re preparing for an important casting, refining a self-tape, developing a character or working through a challenging scene, my approach is collaborative, practical and tailored entirely to the individual.

I believe the best performances come from actors who feel confident enough to take risks, trust their instincts and be completely present in the moment. My aim is to create an environment where actors feel supported, challenged and free to explore their craft.

I work with actors at every stage, from complete beginners and drama-school applicants to established working professionals. Whatever your experience, the focus is always on helping you develop greater confidence, clarity and truth in your work.

Whether you’re preparing for an audition, refining a self-tape, developing a character or simply looking to strengthen your craft, we’ll work together to bring truth, confidence and specificity to your performance.

My approach is practical, collaborative and informed by 25 years working in professional film and television. We’ll explore the choices that make a performance compelling, the subtleties of acting for camera and how to approach the work with clarity and confidence.

I work with actors at every stage, from complete beginners and drama-school applicants to established professionals. Sessions are available online and in person, with the focus always on what you need to develop and achieve.
