About Curtis

I have done 3+ live gesture sessions, and 2+ commissions per week for the past year. As my school is focused on fine arts, I have mastered most physical aspects of illustration with charcoal, ink, pencil and digital. But most importantly, for my whole life I've been in development of a cohesive artistic philosophy and workflow that I would love to share with the world.

About the lesson

What I teach:
- Fast digital workflow
- Gestural and stylistic mastery
- Light theory and accurate rendering
- Anatomy of the human body
- Channeling creativity
- Realistic portraits/ caricatures
Currently attending Earl Haig (high school) for the arts
Lessons are 20$/hour, 30$/2 hours

Saw him playing guitar downtown, sat down with him and had a great conversation. Very down to earth guy who is incredible at guitar, almost near mastery. I signed up for lessons and in a month I improved more than in 3 months with my previous teacher. If you want to actually learn how to play guitar sign up with this guy. He is a patient teacher who is uplifting and kind towards his students while also disciplining them.

I’m super into old school hip hop and wanted to learn some of the samples used on guitar, Curtis was able to figure out the pattern on the spot and show me the tabs, he’s super flexible with genres to learn and it’s a very friendly environment.
