About Katherine
I am both a qualified ESL classroom and skills working with students one to one, small groups and in large numbers, within the academic and business fields. My experience I have developed over the last 15 years, with University Libraries, Academic Schools at University and at the various community Colleges. I hold professional experience teaching all Writing and Oral skills, along with Reading and Listening. I work with students preparing for their PTE and IELTS exams.

My methodology consists of a key emphasis on engaging all students through a range of teaching skills of activities and communication; using a variety of teaching resources within the classroom including quizzes, groupwork and independent work and continuously assessing students. My lesson to a small and large class will commence with an icebreaker to the class activity, such as a game; followed by some theory / explanation about the class content; an activity where all students have time to interact with one another and if time permits, come back and discuss the activity with the class.
