About Claudia
I am a Spanish musician, born and raised in Namibia! I have three years of teaching experience in flute, general music classes and beginner piano. I completed my Bachelor of Music at the University of Cape Town in 2020. I received my degree with distinction! During my undergrad, I did an exchange at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro where I was placed in the top 10% of the UNC system. I just completed my BMus Honors in Chamber Music Performance at Stellenbosch University. I currently teach part-time at Stellenbosch Konservatorium.

The goal of my lessons is to help the student reach their highest potential! I use a combination of standard methodology books and my own technical exercises to focus on specific technical challenges the student might have. We will also use a variety of standard repertoire to incorporate and work on basic technical aspects of flute playing!
I love incorporating duets and any sort of chamber music into the lessons! I believe this helps build musicianship and confidence simultaneously.
I offer weekly online lessons and in-person classes at Stellenbosch Konservatorium.
