About Jordan
I grew up in a musical family, so it seemed inevitable that I'd end up playing some sort of instrument. In middle school, as an honors-band student, I became enamored by the ukulele. Thanks to the music theory I picked up through class, I was able to teach myself ukulele and guitar. Once I began doing that, I pursued a career in music. Integrating my instrumental skills with a passion for singing and songwriting, I began playing gigs at a professional level. I even released some of my own music, and had some incredible opportunities to teach, play for audiences of over 3,000 people, and train other musicians. Whatever the venue has been, I have not been able to escape my love for music and the beauty it can bring to our lives. It'd be my honor to teach you!

My method of teaching is to give students the tools they will need to understand not only their instrument, but music itself. I integrate useful exercises, songs of the student's choice, and collaborate to create a supportive learning environment. Whether working with beginners or intermediate musicians, I make it my aim to emphasize basic music theory and how it interacts with the instrument, all in hopes that students will be able to become their own teachers! With a background in professional music and songwriting, I love to keep things inspiring and creative for the students I teach.
