About Rooptej

I am a 22 year-old singer-songwriter who has released his single ‘Fariyad’ under Merchant Records, which is a label run by the legendary composers duo, Salim-Sulaiman. I have recently debuted in the Telugu Films, with my voice for ‘Chinnari’, a song from the film, Vidhi. The reason I want to share my experience & knowledge with you people is because my aim is to build a community that will make music and create opportunities for themselves without relying on someone, but their own creativity.

About the lesson

My job isn’t to teach you all that’s abundantly available but what’s required for singing film music specifically, for which there are very few buddies! I don’t consider myself a guru, but believe in creative exchange between two music lovers, so let’s get going! It’s supposed to be fun, and I’ll help you understand why it’s important to enjoy what you learn…
