About Dayan
I am Dayan Dananjaya, a motivated QA Engineer with over 4 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and agile project environments. I specialize in both manual and automation testing with strong proficiency in Selenium, JMeter, SQL, and Java. Throughout my career, I have worked across multiple industries, ensuring software reliability and quality while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. My professional journey includes experience as a QA Engineer at Stephen Innovations (Pvt) Ltd, where I developed and executed test plans, automated functional test cases, and ensured quality compliance across software release cycles. Prior to that, I gained extensive QA and automation experience at Virtusa (Pvt) Ltd, where I managed end-to-end testing processes, delivered feedback to improve product quality, and contributed to agile sprint goals. I also have experience as a Software Engineer at DT Innovations, leading small teams and handling full software development cycles, and as a Program Analyst and Academic Tutor at NIBM, where I trained and mentored students in IT and project development. Academically, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology for Business (First Class) from the University of Coventry (UK) / NIBM and am currently pursuing a Master of Applied Management (Business Information Systems) in New Zealand. Additionally, I have completed a Certificate in Software Test Automation, a Higher Diploma in Computer-Based Information Systems, and multiple diplomas in ICT. I am passionate about learning new technologies, improving testing processes, and contributing to high-quality, innovative software solutions.
