About Saurav
I am a professional Software Engineer at a top company, and I graduated with Distinction with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia. I have a wide range of experience building backend services, web apps, desktop and mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure.
I have also been a Teaching Assistant for several undergrad courses, including Data Structures and Algorithms, Software Development, and Computer Networking. I planned lessons, organized activities, and dedicated myself to help students who needed extra attention. I’ve helped students improve their grades and their confidence while developing strong programming fundamentals.
I teach Python, Java, React, TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Machine Learning. I make sure to customize my lessons for each student to match their individual goals and learning styles.

My lessons always focus on the student, and I start by understanding their background, learning style, and their goals.
I'll then work on a structured lesson plan for each student. I break down complex topics by building on existing knowledge, helping both beginner and intermediate students develop fundamental programming skills.
I also strongly believe in hands-on learning, and I include several practical activities and problems in each lesson. I also make sure to revisit harder concepts to reinforce them over time.
