About Serena
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how code can create meaningful tools and solutions. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering, combining strong technical knowledge with applied software development. Over 9 years, I have mentored learners in programming, software design, and logical thinking, helping them build confidence and practical skills.
I emphasize patience, clarity, and adaptability in teaching. Lessons include hands-on coding exercises, stepwise explanations, problem-solving challenges, and iterative feedback. I encourage learners to explore independently, understand underlying logic, and develop structured thinking, rather than relying on memorization.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with programming trends, open-source projects, and new technologies, bringing relevant insights into the classroom. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to confidently designing and executing code is highly rewarding.
