About Valeria
I'm starting my Master's degree in psychology this year. Psychology involves a lot of maths, so I'm always up to date in this subject. Above all, my 7 years of experience in dealing with pupils from the first year of grammar school right up to A-levels qualifies me to teach maths. I have tutored maths both online and face-to-face without a gap since my A-levels, so I am still in practice and I have maintained and regularly updated my knowledge. Tutoring has always been my faithful companion in everyday life and is my favourite part-time job. I enjoy socialising and love giving people 'aha' moments.

I teach math in a creative way to students of all ages. My approach is pretty visual as I draw diagrams or sketches to make a topic more comprehensible. My lessons are very interactive too as I ask students to do exercises on their own while I'm assisting them or giving hints when they need help. I always start by explaining the theoretical part in a compact form and then create exercises with increasing levels of difficulty. I want to help students find the solution themselves and thus experience success step by step. I like to use mnemonic devices and metaphors to make learning easier and more fun. Humour should not be missing in my lessons, after all, it should be a pleasant learning atmosphere.
