About Soniya

I am a psychology undergraduate with a strong interest in the English language and effective communication. My background in psychology helps me better understand how students learn, their different learning styles, and the importance of a supportive learning environment. I have always enjoyed helping others learn and understand concepts in a simple and encouraging way, which is what inspired me to start teaching. I believe English is not just an academic subject, but an essential life skill that builds confidence in expressing thoughts, ideas, and emotions. Through teaching English, I hope to help students improve their language skills while also gaining confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. I find it fulfilling to see students grow at their own pace, feel comfortable asking questions, and gradually become more confident in using English in daily life. My goal is to provide patient, personalized support and create a positive space where students feel motivated and encouraged to learn.

About the lesson

I believe that learning English should be comfortable, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. Every student learns differently, so I take time to understand their current level, strengths, and areas that need improvement before planning my lessons.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, especially in speaking and daily communication. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging and easy to understand. For students who struggle with grammar or vocabulary, I break concepts down step by step to ensure clarity and long-term understanding.

I aim to create a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is an important part of the learning process. Lessons are paced according to the student’s comfort level, ensuring steady progress without pressure.
