About Yubing
Hi, I’m Yubing. I’m an undergraduate studying Information Systems at SMU and have about a year of experience teaching Python in a learning center. I enjoy working with kids and helping them feel more confident as they learn new things. I like keeping things relaxed and approachable, so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.

My teaching approach focuses on building understanding and confidence in students. Before each lesson, I like to give the student a brief overview of what we’ll be learning so they know what to expect. During class, they are encouraged to ask any questions, and I guide them step by step, explaining concepts in simple, clear terms. To make sure they truly understand, I regularly check in throughout the lesson and ask them to explain or summarize what we’ve just covered before moving on. Near the end of the lesson, I also have them revisit any parts they were unsure about to reinforce their understanding and ensure they leave feeling confident.
Lessons usually last 1 to 2 hours. I have one year of experience teaching Python at a learning centre. My lessons are suitable for beginners who would like to learn the basics of Python.
