About Sia
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano from the Queensland Conservatorium and am a passionate and dedicated pianist and teacher. I am a Blue Card holder and have been teaching private piano lessons since 2010, working with students of all ages and levels.
In addition to teaching, I am actively engaged as a performer and musician, including accompanying school choirs and participating in various musical activities.
I believe that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can grow with confidence. My goal is not only to develop strong piano technique and musical expression, but also to inspire a lifelong love of music.

My piano lessons are designed to build strong technical foundations while encouraging expressive, creative, and confident musical performance. Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s individual level, goals, and learning style, combining technique, repertoire, and a deeper understanding of music.
For younger students, I incorporate age-appropriate, brain development–focused activities that support both cognitive growth and early musical skills in an engaging and enjoyable way.
Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes in duration. I have been teaching private piano lessons since 2010, and many of my students have achieved excellent results in AMEB examinations, typically ranging from B+ to A+. I am a Conservatorium-trained pianist with experience teaching students from age 4 through to adults, across all levels from beginner to advanced.
Lesson fees start from $50 for a 30-minute session. I offer flexible learning options, including:
Online lessons available across Australia
In-home lessons in Bulimba, Queensland
Studio lessons in Griffin, Queensland (featuring a grand piano)
