Hi there, I'm JD, an IELTS tutor from Oxford in the UK. I spent more than 15 years working in Ankara and Istanbul in Türkiye and have helped thousands of students reach the IELTS score they have been dreaming of.

What can I say, James is the absolute best tutor I have ever had. Not only did he help me pass my IELTS exam, he has so much insider knowledge about how to correctly answer each question in the speaking exam, I went from constantly getting 5 or 5.5 to getting 7.5 after 2 months of lessons with him. We still talk every week even though I no longer need to practice for IELTS, because we never get bored of topics to choose from. James has great knowledge of many different industries and is a very interesting person! Highly recommended and definitely the best teacher here.
James is an energetic, happy and friendly teacher who gives super instruction to the fullest.
