About Emmanuel
I am an experienced/qualified secondary Psychology and English teacher who graduated from The University of Adelaide with a double degree. I have gained successful results in assisting disinterested and distracted students, using various methods of engagement to become a successful mentor by personalizing my tutoring experience to my students' own learning styles.

I approach each topic by first gathering an understanding of my students' knowledge on the task required, and tailoring the learning process in a way that is engaging for that particular student. My lessons are geared towards students who wish to improve upon their understanding of the work provided, and I always refer to the assessment criteria provided by the school, breaking it down into terms that are easily comprehended by my student to increase results. I have a strong understanding of what is popular amongst teenagers and popular culture and have found incredible success in linking this to assessments to increase student engagement.
