About Lauren
I graduated from Keele University with a 2:1 degree in History in 2020 and did my Teacher Training at St Joseph’s Initial Teacher Training Centre 2020-2021.
After qualifying, I taught in Derby for two years before returning to teach in Stoke in September 2023. I have taught both AQA and Edexcel, and have an extensive subject knowledge.
Qualified AQA GCSE Marker.
I am incredibly passionate and proud of what I do and enjoy sharing my love of history with others.
I publish GCSE and Key Stage 3 resources regularly on TES- (concealed information)
Outside of teaching, I am avid reader and enjoy hiking and camping at the weekend.

Specialise in a wide range of periods- particularly Germany 1871-1991, Tudor England, Medicine Through Time, the American West, and the Civil Rights Movement.

Perfect! I cannot begin to tell you how amazing Lauren has been with my daughter. As a child that has been homeschooled in her final year of her senior years, my daughter was lost and anxious about her History GCSEs. Having missed a lot of school due to health issues in previous years, Lauren was able to bring some structure and help my daughter get through her learnings. She made it easy, fun and educational - and covered so much in the 4.5 months she tutored my daughter. My daughter sat her GCSEs in May and was prepared with good understanding of all topics she sat in her GCSEs Oh, did I mention that my daughter also has dyslexia, ADHD and Autism - all of which Lauren is highly qualified in supporting and helping my child navigate through and learn in the best way for her. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone out there who is looking to support their child develop and grow in history and to strive to be the best they can be. Thank you Lauren, I don't know how we would have done this without you..
