About Emma
Hello! My name is Emma and I am a qualified primary school teacher with three years experience across both KS1 and KS2; prior to teaching, I was a nursery practitioner. I also have experience working 1:1 with children and young people experiencing mental health and behavioural difficulties, gaining my post-graduate diploma in Education Mental Health Practice earlier this year. I have always been passionate about working with children in nurturing and supportive roles. Facilitating those ‘light bulb’ moments is perhaps the most rewarding part! I love knowing I’ve made a difference to a child’s education.

I believe children do best when excited about their learning. For that reason, I pride myself on providing engaging, stimulating and creative lessons, no matter what the topic. I always adapt my tutoring style to the needs of each pupil whilst building on and celebrating their successes. I am warm, personable and approachable; creating an environment in which your child feels comfortable asking questions and having a go is a priority.
