About Tom
Really enjoy being a teacher during the day, but in my spare time, I SCUBA dive, travel when I can. Experienced teacher and tutor, also exam marker. Five years of teaching experience in these subjects at a local independent school. Five years tutoring experience from year 9 GCSE to A level (both GCSE and IGCSE courses. Chemistry degree from University of Birmingham.

Having struggled with the subjects initially myself, I understand why pupils find these subjects difficult and this helps with my explanation of difficult concepts. I encourage a "never give up" attitude and firmly believe that anyone can learn anything, with the correct motivation and teaching
