About Prema
I am a hardworking, enthusiastic and focused Secondary English, KS2 teacher and private Maths and English tutor who is strongly committed to the safeguarding of young people. I am keen to promote high quality education whilst protecting the wellbeing of students at all times. I believe in creating positive and safe relationships with not only my students, but also parents and teachers alike, so that together we can aim to promote and reinforce students’ independence and self-esteem. My love for literature and the English language allows me to deliver secondary English lessons which are vibrant and engaging; my love for the development of young people enables me to work pastorally with primary children in building relationships and enhancing learning in all areas. I passionately feel that the creative teaching of all subjects and high quality resources, as well as on-going analysis of assessment data, are all integral in ensuring that every student achieves their full academic potential.
I love to read and swim and spend time with my 1 year old son when I am not teaching or tutoring.
