I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience in secondary schools across London. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering, as well as a degree in Mathematics, which provides me with both academic expertise and practical insight into applying mathematics in the real world.

My Teaching Methodology: I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching to individual needs. My approach focuses on three key areas: building strong foundations, developing problem-solving skills, and preparing for exams with proven strategies. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice to ensure students fully grasp each topic. I also place strong emphasis on boosting confidence, so students feel comfortable tackling even the most challenging questions. Outline of a Typical Lesson: Quick Review (5–10 minutes): Checking understanding of previous material and addressing any difficulties. New Topic/Concept (20–25 minutes): Step-by-step explanation with worked examples. Guided Practice (15–20 minutes): Students work through problems with support and feedback. Independent Practice (10–15 minutes): Focused exam-style questions to reinforce learning. Summary & Next Steps (5 minutes): Key takeaways, corrections, and optional homework tasks. I provide tailored tuition for: * KS3 (Years 7 to 9) – building strong foundations * KS4 (GCSE and IGCSE) Maths – exam-focused strategies and confidence-building (AQA and Edexcel exam boards). * A-Level Maths – advanced support for strong results and university preparation. For A-levels, I tutor in Pure Maths, Statistics and Mechanics for Edexcel and AQA exam boards. * University foundations students. Tuition Fees: KS3 & KS4 (Year 7 to 11): £50/hour A-Level & University Foundation: £80/hour Online or in-person lessons available.
