Nicole is the most patient, selfless, and caring teacher I know. She was firm with her teachings and boundaries and my children followed her. I would describe her teaching style as classical with structure, music to facilitate memorization, and hands on learning experiences. My kids were 1 and 2 years old at the time and she taught them for a year before moving away. She has a way with little ones and sees them for all their abilities. She looks for ways to teach any child at any age in lessons from academic, biblical, creative, social emotional, and cognitive skills. She uses materials that are age appropriate and her charismatic energy and love for teaching shines through igniting the passion in your children to love learning. Aside from being an excellent teacher, Nicole is a genuine, true, honest person who my girls look up to (and so do I). She showed up ready with her lesson plan and routine. She always brought her own materials and food (even though I told her she could use things in the home). She was conscious and respectful-intentional in every way. Nicole is an exceptional teacher, provider, and tutor. I highly recommend her for any teaching or shepherding job.

Entrusting one’s children to someone’s care can be incredibly stressful for any parent.
Thankfully, we knew from the moment we interviewed Nicole that she would be a wonderful caregiver in our absence.
In the months after she started, we had been continuously amazed by her love and devotion towards our children. Although she had only been with our children approximately twenty hours per week, we noticed significant physical, emotional, and intellectual growth during the few first months. Our son had overcome an expressive speech delay and was (for the most part) potty-trained within the span of a few weeks. Our daughter had learned to recognize basic shapes and had taken a great interest in books/reading. All of these milestones were made possible – in part – by Nicole’s efforts.
Nicole proactively engaged our children in activities that enriched their minds and stimulated their creativity. She frequently brought over her own educational toys, puzzles, and music, adding some variety to what we already provide. Nicole noticed that our son was ready for more advanced learning and guided him. Because of her introduction of phonics worksheets to our son at the age of 3, he was beginning to read 2 to 3 letter words. Now at the age of 5, he continues to use his skills and is working on 6 to 7 letter words. The speed in which he has learned to read is amazing. And we have Nicole to truly thank for recognizing his cognitive abilities much sooner than we would have otherwise. By the time Nicole left our home, our son, who had recently turned 4 was starting to count by 10's; he had learned to tell time on an analog clock, was reading to his younger sister, and spelling and writing his own name.
Nicole has been a tremendous blessing to our family and we are delighted to recommend her to anyone who needs
a loving caregiver, friend, and teacher for their young children.

Nicole is a an amazing teacher. She puts alot of thought into lesson plans, allowing a better learning experience. She taught my 5 years old daughter how to read and write very well. When my daughter enrolled in 1st grade, her reading and writing was Very advanced, due to Nicole’s ability to help her with the process.
