About Beth
I have been tutoring on and off for the past few years.
Through COVID lockdowns and home schooling I have increased my proficiency in teaching and improving reading levels from stage 1 - no prior knowledge, starting from scratch - to improving reading comprehension levels for SATs and 11+.
The students that I have taught so far have improved dramatically in their reading standards and confidence and received improved scores in their tests.

I mainly give lessons for primary aged children - 4-11 - however, all ages from pre-school to adults are accepted.
The lesson plans will be catered to each individual depending on the current level and what they want to achieve as an end result. For those who are focused more on improving abilities for testing I tend to set home work that should be completed before the next session.
I am fairly relaxed as a teacher but I do require focus and concentration while the lesson is taking place.
