About Devonja
I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and I graduated with a 3.98 GPA. I tutored all levels of chemistry during my junior and senior year of university. I am also pre-med and intend to be a physician. I love to help students see the sciences in a different way in order to make learning easier.

For my lessons, I focus on ensuring that each student is heard and that their learning style is catered to. I carefully ask each student what they typically do to study, what method usually works best for them, and what they believe they’re doing wrong. I also assess their methods myself and adjust accordingly, adding or removing strategies to optimize learning. The sciences can be overwhelming at first glance, but I have the ability to break things down and make them easily digestible.
