I graduated from Arizona State University where I received a B.S. in Biological Sciences. I am currently a research assistant in Biology Education Research where I focus on making the classroom inclusive for students from various backgrounds. During my time as an undergraduate, I have hosted multiple exam review sessions and one-on-one tutoring sessions for freshman students.

My teaching method is to allow students to create healthy and sustainable study techniques. I focus on making sure that my students not only understand concepts but are able to apply these concepts to other biological examples. I am never afraid to admit that I do not understand a concept fully, but I find these opportunities to show my students where to find biology resources.
