About Leya
Hello to my future tutor families! My name is Triliyah Bowie, Leya for short. I have recently received my undergraduate from Cardinal Stritch University in psychology/Criminal Justice. I've been tutoring children for about four years and I also have prior experience with children that have learning disabilities, disorders, gone through trauma, etc. I strive for children to succeed and to be a great advocate for them. After all, children are the next generation and to impact them positively will also make a positive impact on the future. I enjoy tutoring that involves reading, english, grammar, and writing for children between the ages of 6-11(1st-5th grade). I can also tutor on elementary mathematics. I have and will continue to use strategies such as games, visual stimuli, rewards to make tutoring fun, etc. I also try and keep children motivated, generally and while tutoring. I am looking forward to serving you and your child!

I can teach in a way that encourage my clients by playing games, doing leisure activities, so that learning can be productive but fun. I use a lot of visual cues that attracts the eye and keep children engaged.
