About Jacob
Not too long ago I was a student studying the heavy load for a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and I value the help that a tutor can give! Sometimes there is a really hard homework problem you are stuck on or just struggle to wrap your head around a concept and that is where I come in. I am a recent 2022 graduate for a bachelor's in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. I am continuing my studies for a master's in Chemistry with an emphasis of polymer science.
In addition, I have three semesters of grant research centered in Organic Chemistry under my belt. This research involved investigation into mechanisms of certain reactions that I was able to present at an annual conference! I promise to bring a fresh mindset to any problem and work together to fully understand the topics at hand.

I specialize in tutoring for chemistry related courses from middle school through senior year in undergrad. These areas include Analytical, General, Organic, and Psychical Chemistry. Naturally a strong background in mathematics is sometimes advantageous to succeed in this field and I am open to help in that area as well!
My lesson plans will work to target the key areas that are needed to be understood through the use of my own work examples or homework problems.
