About Blake
I am an experienced Trumpet tutor with 7 years of teaching and professional experience. Helping school and college students achieve their musical dreams has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my career. I believe that every lesson should inspire students to grow both as musicians and as individuals.
My teaching includes breathing control, posture, tone production, articulation, rhythm, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and performance techniques. I adapt every lesson to suit the student's learning style so they can improve with confidence.
Over the years, I have reached many rewarding milestones by helping students build strong musical foundations and perform with greater confidence. Watching students overcome challenges and enjoy their progress motivates me to continue teaching with enthusiasm.
I encourage students to practice consistently, stay patient, and enjoy the learning process. I believe that success comes through steady effort and a positive mindset. Every lesson is designed to be engaging, practical, and encouraging.

My trumpet lessons are designed to develop strong fundamentals, advanced performance skills, and lasting musical confidence through personalized instruction. Whether you are a beginner learning your first notes or an experienced player preparing for auditions, examinations, concerts, or competitions, each lesson is carefully planned to match your individual goals.
Students build a solid foundation through posture, breathing techniques, embouchure development, tone production, articulation, rhythm, note reading, scales, and finger coordination. As skills improve, lessons expand to include flexibility exercises, lip slurs, endurance training, range development, phrasing, dynamics, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, solo repertoire, orchestral excerpts, ensemble performance, and stage confidence.
Every lesson includes structured practice plans, constructive feedback, and performance strategies that encourage steady progress and enjoyable learning.
