About Nancy

Retired corporate executive (with degree in Computer Science and Certification in Middle School Math) possesses great math and technology expertise wants to help kids succeed in school. Math skills are crucial to success and it takes a special person to translate technical math skills into understandable concepts that can help kids learn. That's what I do well! Fear math no more! Throughout my technology career, I have loved teaching as well as tutoring students in middle school, particularly algebra and geometry. We can customize tutoring sessions to meet the needs of your student and help them improve grades in those critical math classes needed to get to high school and college.

About the lesson

I approach each student to learn more about what their unique challenges are and then tailor tutoring sessions that will help them increase their math skills substantially. We'll use pictures, images and creativity in a relaxed, interactive virtual setting to work through math concepts and examples so that your student will have a better grasp of the mathematical foundation needed to move forward and increase math skills. As a mom and a grandma, I love kids and want to share the knowledge I have accumulated to help them succeed.

I have known Nancy for several years both professionally and personally. Nancy is upbeat, energetic, and always fun to work with. I would recommend learning with Nancy because she is patient and has a wealth of information. I joined a project Nancy was leading and needed to get up to speed quickly. Nancy spent time addressing my knowledge gaps and patiently tutored me on the value props so that I could be a valued member of the team. What I enjoyed most is that as she explained the benefits to me without talking down to me. Thank you, Nancy! You truly helped me learn and add value quickly!

Nancy and I recently worked together for four years. She had an excellent rapport with all employees across all business units. When she was teaching or speaking in front of a large or small group her enthusiasm and positive energy were highly contagious. When projects were due for our clients I could always rely on Nancy to have the project completed with extra creativity, and without errors. I would recommend Nancy without reservation.
