About Robert James
I am a retired middle school teacher. I taught grammar, composition reading and literature for twelve years. I taught basic mathematics up to Algebra I and Geometry for two years. I am also qualified to teach GED material.

My teaching approach varies depending on the subject and student. I am a "book person." I enjoy reading and encourage my students to do the same. This in itself assists in learning. In my math classes, repetition of the concept we are studying is important.

Details
I do not charge travel expenses if the student is within five miles driving distance from my home.
My first free lesson will last one hour.
My rates are $35.00 per hour. However, a two hour lesson, which would normally cost $70.00, will be reduced to the ninety minute rate of $60.00.
A cancellation less than two hours before the agreed up time will result in a one hour charge.
