About Marc

I am a Senior Industrial Designer with two decades of experience working within a London design consultancy. Because my primary focus remains with my studio, I do not take on commercial freelance design projects.

Instead, I offer premium, 1-on-1 live mentoring and CAD troubleshooting exclusively for ambitious university students, recent graduates, and individuals looking to elevate their personal CAD skills.

My core philosophy is simple: the curves are the basis of a good model. If your foundational curve network is flawed, your surfaces will always fight you. I don't just patch up your broken geometry for you; I teach you how to refine your design intent and execute it with the correct underlying logic from the ground up.

If you have hit a technical wall on a university degree project or a personal build, and standard tutorials are no longer helping, I provide the elite-level workflow guidance needed to get your model over the line.

About the lesson

What We Can Cover in a 1-on-1 Screen-Share Session:

Emergency File Surgery: We will forensically examine your student file, diagnose why your geometry is failing (naked edges, broken fillets, non-manifold errors), and fix it together in real-time.

Advanced Curve Logic: Structuring, evaluating, and rebuilding your foundational curves to guarantee perfect, flowing surfaces.

Complex Form Refinement & SubD: Mastering unconventional modelling workflows—bridging precise NURBS surfacing with organic SubD (Subdivision Surface) modelling—to achieve fluid and highly intricate shapes that defy standard approaches.

Prototyping & Advanced 3D Printing: Learning the exact layer management, tolerances, and advanced mesh export techniques required to optimise your digital model for successful, high-resolution physical 3D printing.

This is an opportunity to look over the shoulder of a senior designer, fix your immediate CAD roadblocks, and permanently upgrade your modelling approach.

A Note on the 30-Minute Free Session:

Because my sessions are focused on high-level troubleshooting, the 30-minute free introductory session acts strictly as a diagnostic consultation. We will use this time to open your file, evaluate your curve logic, and outline the exact technical fixes required. The hands-on, screen-share file surgery and modelling work will commence in our first paid hour.
