About Tommy
I am a recent college graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology. I majored in Mechanical Engineering for my bachelors degree and Robotics for my masters degree. I now work as a systems and software engineer on autonomous vehicle technologies.
During and prior to college, I have had multiple years of experience tutoring students to help them achieve their academic potential.

My teaching method revolves around guided practice until the student has mastered a concept. In a typical lesson plan, I will first give a brief explanation/recap of the concept and then walk through an example problem with the student together. After that, I let the student try tackling problems on their own and offer tips and assistance along the way. I believe in this way through repetition the student is able to grasp and understand fully.
I teach lessons for students in elementary, middle, and high school, as well as current college students. I can teach any level of math, from algebra to geometry to precalculus and calculus. For college students, I am able to teach STEM related fields such as physics and computer science.
