I love working with children and helping them to make progress and achieve, using a structured progressive approach that is individual and fun - including interactive activities, games, reading activities and spelling activities.

I teach children with literacy difficulties - dyslexia in particular. I teach phonics, spelling, punctuation, reading, grammar and study skills.
I also teach English as a second language. I teach privately and on-line.

£25.00 per hour
£15 per half hour - live-Skype lessons
I give a discount for lessons booked on block of 10% with payment in advance.

Our son has gone up two sets in English!
Before my child only got 2 out of 10 right, this time he had 10/10 right! That's never happened before!
His teacher has said how pleased she is with his progress, and how much he is improving!
Our son loves Mrs Ruth Grigg! She has been teaching him how to spell, read, understand the English language through a lot of activities and a lot of fun and many, many, smiles and laughter!
Our son Ted, is more confident now. He has been learning English, he has laughed, and he just can't wait for Ruth every Saturday!Adam has only just started on his journey with Ruth, but he is loving going and the help Ruth is giving him.
