I've been a science teacher for twenty years teaching in a variety of schools in Kent. I have been and examiner for OCR marking GCSE chemistry, and a head of department. I have some involvement with home education and am aware of the drawbacks and pitfalls of the school system.

Teaching methods depend on the individual and the context. Within a school environment, science should be a practical subject which is hands on and fun.
