About Norman
As a Spanish teacher, I strive to provide opportunities for my students to personalize their exploration of the Spanish language and Spanish culture. Beyond teaching my students to express themselves in Spanish, I hope to give them a new tool that will expand the reach of the gifts that they have to offer to the world. Students develop their writing, listening, and speaking skills by focusing on issues that are relevant to their lives and important for the continued success of a vibrant and multicultural society. Overall, I want my class to help students become more capable Spanish speakers who are also culturally competent individuals with a deep appreciation for and a nuanced understanding of the many ways in which societies organize themselves.

I can help you strengthen your grammar, speaking, and writing skills and would tailor lesson plans to correspond with your competencies and goals. My philosophy is to equip you with the language skills you need to apply it to everyday life and combine theory with practice. My background has been with high school aged students ranging from 13-18 but I can also support younger and older learners.
